Player Options

IVA trailers will play in any player you choose to use.  Some clients use our Free Trailer API which comes with a player; others build a player in IVA's Media Manager, and still others use a player they have built themselves.  This page will outline your options for players.

Free Trailer API Player - This player is used with our Free Trailer API  and is now using our new iframe embed code. This new embed code has HTML5 support built in allowing for use on mobile devices.  There is no charge for the player because it is ad supported, and the ads are controlled by IVA.

Subscribers can build a fully customizable player from inside Media Manager.  We offer two choices of player, but strongly recommend that clients choose to build a player using the Cross Platform Player v5.

Cross Platform Player v5 - This player has built-in HTML5 support ensuring that trailers will play across all devices, including iPad, iPhone and computers that do not support Adobe Flash.  The player comes with automatic bandwidth detection, screen size optimization, automatic browser detection.  This means that your users will always get the best quality video available in the shortest amount of time for the device they are using.  This player uses high performance Javascript / Ajax solution. It is fully customizable using the Flash Player Manager inside Media Manager.  You can change how the player looks and behaves with just a few clicks of the mouse.  This is our newest player and therefore fully supported.
