Internet Video Archive Logo All Access - A Newsletter for IVA Suppliers
Internet Video Archive passed another milestone recently when we passed the four billion mark for plays of trailers. Over one billion of those plays were served on mobile devices, which are an increasingly important part of the purchase process for movie tickets. This new milestone was possible because our roster of clients continues to expand. Did you know that IVA now has over 3000 affiliates that reach a potential monthly audience of over 350 million people? We keep growing so that you can keep growing.
You've read the press coverage about Verizon's acquisition of RedBox and its move into streaming video, and we're pleased to report that IVA has been chosen to deliver movie and TV trailers on the new service. Our developer team is already hard at work with Verizon and Cisco on implementation so that everything will be perfect and ready to go for the roll-out later this year.
IVA has been working hard over the past year expanding our library of international trailers, and it's paid off with our new agreement to provide movie and game trailers for UK retailer Tesco. Tesco is the third largest retailer in the world (after WalMart and Carrefour) operating in 14 countries. They sell and rent DVDs, Blu-ray, and videogames and also offer video-on-demand through a partnership with Blinkbox. More here.
IVA's Video Detective now has a channel on LG TVs through our latest partnership with DivX. IVA powered trailers now play on PS3, Xbox, Samsung, Vizio, Roku, PopBox, and at Comcast XFinity putting the IVA Digital Living Room at over 100 million internet-connected devices.
Many studios are regular users of the comprehensive film and television Studio System database from Baseline. March 30th saw the launch of the all new "Video Galleries" which features trailers from IVA. The minute new trailers are available from any studio you'll be able to watch it on Studio System.
